susPEcr INFORMATION: 36-year-old Elijah King, resident of san Luis obispo
DETAJIS:
On August 28,2o25, the San Luis Obispo Police Department was notified by the Western States Information
Network (WSf$ of a threatening post made on the social media platform X by a user identified as Elijah King, a
resident of San Luis Obispo. WSIN is a law enforcement entity that provides criminal intelligence informatioito
law enforcement agencies. The post statd, "t'm going to blow up svety synagogue in a zo-mile radius. This is a realt!ry"!, call the police and rePort me for terrorism." The post was quickly ternoJea by X as the post was in violation
of their terms of service, and SLOPD Detectives immediately initiated an investigatibn.
In coordination with the san Luis obispo county District Attorne/s office, sLopD Detectives conducted an
extensive investigation and on Wednesday, October 22,2a21,the District Attorney filed formal charges against
Elijah King:
. PCr48.t(c): Felony False Bomb Threat. PC 4zz.71: Felony Hate Crime Enhancement
On Friday, Oc'tober ?4,2o25,SLOPD Detectives located King in a parhng lot on the 39oo block of S. Higuera andarrested him without incident. He was booked into the San Luis Obispo Co*ty.tail on the above charyes.
