Melissa Savage April 23, 2025 City of San Luis Obispo Project No. 24-529 Public Works/Community Development 990 Palm Street San Luis Obispo, CA RE: BUILDING PLAN CHECK #: BLD-0438-2025 1424 Hansen Lane, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 Dear Ms. Savage, This letter is in response to your Plan Review Comments regarding building permit application for 1424 Hansen Lane. The following are item-by-item responses to plan check comments dated 3/24/2025. The sections and numbering of the items correspond to the sections and numbered items of the plan check comments. Please note complete drawing sets have been re-submitted; changes due to plan check responses and due to minor architectural changes and graphical updates have been clouded with a Delta 1. The Structural Plan Check comments are as follows: 1. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS: 12. Verify that the retaining wall footing/heel (and/or the 12” wide gravel drains) based on details C6.0 does not cross over the property line on the easterly side of the property. Show the dimension of the wall to the property line. Revised property line site walls details 20&22 have been provided on sheet S-400. These details show the relationship between the property line and the retaining wall heel. The property line is also now being shown on the foundation plan. 23. Provide reference(s) in place of “by others” Typical. See sheet C4.0 sanitary sewer keynote 4, sheet C5.0 red line, and sheet C6.0 detail 2 for examples. All instances of “by others” have been removed and the discipline responsible has been sited. 26. Show distance from footing to property line on detail 16, sheet S-400. Revised property line site walls details 20&22 have been provided on sheet S-400. These details show the relationship between the property line and the retaining wall heel.
