Subject:Emerson Park
I am writing this to please ask city council to consider halting the plans for the project “dog park“ at Emerson
Park. As a mother of kids who play sports, and a long time coach for this community, I can tell you that taking
half of this park away will do more harm than good. We already have a beautiful dog park for owners to take
their animals to. A place that is secluded and away from kids so no accidents happen. Every time I walk by this
park, there is always a local team practicing there, which is exactly what this park is needed for. Parking as it
is already very impacted in this area and putting a dog park there, but only draw more traffic. Please hear me
out on this concern and genuinely look at if this is a good idea for our community at this time and if this is what
