Subject: Mill St. Paving Project
Hello there,
My name is Natalie Disalvo and I live on the corner of Mill and Grove St, and I would like to submit my request for
speed humps and/or a roundabout at my intersection. Since Mill St. is a non stop thoroughfare between California
and Grand, people go extremely fast on our street, sometimes even the city busses. There are a few families on
this street with young children, including myself, and I would hate to see something horrible happen because
college students and the like are racing down our street. This is a residential neighborhood not a main road like
Monterey. We have had many accidents right in front of my house because people go so fast. Last year you
installed “temporary” speed humps, not sure why they were temporary but they need to be permanent; I did notice
a difference in the speed of cars during that time.
Thank you for your consideration.
Natalie DiSalvo
