Dear Justin,
I am writing to follow-up with you about the Neighborhood Traffic Management Application we submitted
in November 2022 to request speed humps or tables on Sydney Street between Johnson Avenue and
Augusta Street.
I see that the "2026 Paving Project" is Business Item 5.a on the agenda for the Active Transportation
Committee meeting that is scheduled on Thursday, January 15.
The project does not include the installation of speed tables, cushions, humps, or tables on Sydney
Street - even as a pilot measure (as is included on Augusta from Sinsheimer Elementary to Laurel Lane).
Do you know if our application was considered; and if so, why the decision was made not to proceed with
these features?
