Subject: California Public Records Act Request – Body Camera Footage and Records Related to Arrest of Jevon Rowden
Hello,
Under the California Public Records Act (Gov. Code § 7920.000 et seq.), I am requesting disclosure and copies of all
records related to my arrest that occurred in San Luis Obispo County approximately four months ago, involving SLO
Police Department officers.
Requested Records
Please provide the following:
1. Body-worn camera footage from all officers present during my arrest.
2. Dash camera footage (if applicable).
3. Audio recordings, including dispatch audio, 911 calls, radio traffic, and any recorded communications related to
the incident.
4. Incident reports, arrest reports, use-of-force reports, supplemental reports, and narratives.
5. Photographs, including any taken during or after the incident.
6. Medical clearance records or documentation provided to the hospital by officers.
7. Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) logs and timestamps for the incident.
8. Names and badge numbers of all involved officers.

Location: My residence in San Luis Obispo 871 Chorro St. , San Luis Obispo
Description: Multiple officers involved; I was restrained, injured, and transported to a hospital where I was
injected with a sedative.

I request all records to be provided electronically via email or secure download link.
Fee Waiver & Public Interest
If any fees are required, please let me know in advance.
However, under CPRA, agencies may not charge for search or redaction time,only duplication costs.
Statutory Timeline
This request requires a response within 10 calendar days acknowledging receipt and indicating whether the records will
be disclosed. Extensions may not exceed an additional 14 days.
