Subject:Emerson Park
Park and Recreation Commission,
As a former resident of San Luis Obispo, and a dog owner, please do not convert any section of Emerson Park
to a dog park. Emerson Park is the only space in the downtown/Old Town area for children and families and
sports activities to use. To not overstate my concerns, it honestly feels like this decision would put dogs over
the needs of children and families. Please reconsider this short-sighted decision. Dog owners have other
options. Families who live in this area may not.
