Subject:Laguna Lake Golf Course Study Session - February 3, 2026 - Agenda Item #7
The golf course has been mismanaged by the City since inception. It should be preserved and leased to
knowledgeable professionals for the operation of the now defunct clubhouse, restaurant and pro shop.
The on-site trailer is a disgrace to the city and is emblematic of the problems created by government
management ignorant of the potential community benefits and how to achieve them. Any alternative land uses
are just excuses and coverup of misguided policies by self serving bureaucrats.
Leave our Golf Course alone and lease the operation to someone who knows what they’re doing.
