Subject:Please Reconsider Laguna Lake Golf Course Closure
Good evening, my name is Danielle and I am a 3rd year biomedical engineering major at Cal Poly.
As someone who was an avid golfer on my high school team, I was thrilled to learn that there was an
affordable golf course not even a 5 minute drive from my house. Laguna Lake Golf Course is an
affordable, accessible, and not very crowded place that allows for people of all types, including college
students like me, to golf in my free time.
Eliminating this course would be devastating to the golfing community in San Luis Obispo, and I
respectfully urge you to reconsider the possibility of closing this welcoming and valued space.
