Subject:Laguna Lake Golf Course Study Session - February 3, 2026 - Agenda Item #7
The Laguna Lake Golf Course has been an important part of our community for decades. I have been
playing there since the 1980's. Not only does it provide healthy recreation, but it is an important
visual break from the asphalt and building of our city. This is a mental health perk for our citizens. I
would urge you to leave it open and not succumb to the financial lure or additional housing.
Also - LOVR road is very busy in the section, particularly when Laguna Middle School is opening or
closing. Additional traffic congestion here is not welcome and provides safety concerns for the
students.
