Dear Mayor Stewart and Council Members,
Thank you for having a study session on the Laguna Lake Golf Course.
I am not a golfer, but I very much appreciate what the golf course offers to the community.
- The green space on LOVR, it is always a highlight to me, to see all that green surrounded by the city.
- The opportunity of new golfers to learn the sport in a low pressure environment.
- The ability of local schools to hold practice rounds there.
- The wild life that depends on the green space.
But most importantly, as Joni Mitchell writes:
Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone
They paved paradise, put up a parking lot
Green space is one of the things that we are proud of having in SLO, I would hate to see this go away.

growing suburban environment :-)
