Subject:Laguna Lake Golf Course Study Session - February 3, 2026 - Agenda Item #7
My wife and I own & live in a home that is next to the Laguna Golf Course. Over the years
we have observed many different activities that were held on the course and always enjoyed them,
especially those designed for the youth. We both support preserving the golf course.
Some of our suggestions are:
(1)) Maintaining it as a recreational space and a community greenbelt
(2) Investing in improvements that expand access and usage
(3) Exploring the vision for a golf-centric community multiplex
(4) Protecting affordable city-owned recreation for current and future generations
(5) mini golf for families & youth
(6) Enhanced practice facilities
(7) Improve driving range facilities.
