Subject:Laguna Lake Golf Course Study Session - February 3, 2026 - Agenda Item #7
Dear San Luis Obispo City Council,
I am writing to express my strong support for the Laguna golf course and to highlight its vital role in our
community. This space provides a safe and essential environment to foster youth development, growth,
and a sense of community.
The course offers a tremendous experience for after-school programs, allowing for the enhancement of
our children's skills and social connections. To take this space away from our community—especially
given its location across the street from a junior high school where students are at a critical stage of their
development—would be catastrophic to their growth.
I hope you will consider the significant positive impact this course has on our local youth and the
community at large.
