LAGUNA LAKE GOLF COURSE PROGRAM OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OVERVIEW STUDY SESSION I been asked about other uses/ideas to enhance revenue generation at Laguna Lake golf course. So I thought I'd share them with you. I'm certain that many of them have already been thought of, but I'll send them along anyway. And I'm certain there are many others. Brett Cross San Luis Obispo One thing right off the top of my head is to hold Frisbee golf tournaments there. They could come in and put up temporary frisbee golf baskets. I think there has been nighttime "glow golf" play. I'd look back into that. Look at private parties. You could easily put up a large tent in the driving range area if someone wanted to have wedding that includes golfing. You might be able to do some small outdoor concerts or community events. Sea Pines golf course has a summer concert series as I recall. Having some "pop up" food events with food trucks and music. Maybe a beer or wine tasting event with vendors at each hole. Instruction clinics and camps. Not only for youth but adults. Maybe through Cuesta College adult programs. 1 Look for a golf vendor to lease part of the pro shop to open a retail golf establishment. Maybe the owners at Roger Dunn in Arroyo Grande would be interested in having an "annex" at the golf course. There's probably a lot of other ideas out there. Brett Cross San Luis Obispo 2
