Subject:Oak tree at 614 Monterey Street
I am emailing about item 5.g - Tree Removal at 614 Monterey Street which is to be discussed at the
February 3rd meeting. I would urge the council to consider alternative ideas for development which
preserve this amazing oak tree specimen! Nature trees are a hallmark of an area and this distinct tree
adds such character and beauty to this area of downtown. It will be sorely missed if removed.
