Subject:Laguna Golf Course Wellbeing
To whom it may concern,
I live at 1658 Royal Way. I am very close to the golf course. The value that it adds to my life is worth more than
money.
How do you put a price on the healing effects of the beauty of nature?
I was in a motorcycle accident in 2006 and after that I find it difficult to filter out noises. I need it quiet in order to
concentrate on tasks. My family was fortunate enough to move here around 2018 and it has blessed us all ever
since.
The quietude of the course allows me to maintain my inner peace.
The beauty that I behold from the expanse of the grassy green golf course quells my inner person if I happen to be
upset.
When I do hear things from the course, it is the cheerful banter from the golfers and that adds to my day. They are in
the course, the positive source of it all.
My hobby is ham radio. I regularly enjoy contacting other ham operators around the world. Japan, South America,
Europe. The lack of electricity in the course creates a quiet Radio Frequency environment. So I benefit from the
quietness of low Electromagnetic Frequency in this day and age where many RF-noisy devices are present.
Please know that the course as it is has an effect on the people and I believe it contributes to the fact that San Luis
Obispo is full of positive, happy city-folk. Please maintain this jewel of our town.
