Dear Parks and Recreation Commission,
I object to taking away the open unprogrammed “playing field” and converting it into a dog run.
Kids need places to play. Taking away this field says you think downtown an unfit place for kids to live, and that makes no
sense. Yards are small, a field is a huge blessing for energetic kids.
Further a dog park at this location is inappropriate. It will be a noisy, smelly 24/7 mess in the middle of a neighborhood.
Most inappropriate.
So, please keep the field open and available for improvised and organized kid play.
