Now Open: Cultural Arts & Community Promotions Grant Program
•Competitive grant application process with up
to $100,000 available in funding
•Events and activities focused on social, cultural, or
recreational benefit to the community at large
•To be used for marketing and advertising expenses
only for events that occur July 1, 2026 –June 30,
2027
•In-person and virtual information sessions will be
offered
Application deadline: March 17 at midnight

Public Art Program - Newport Street Community Mural
Phase 1 of the community art mural in the walkway between Newport Street and CL Smith Elementary
began on Saturday, January 31. The next community painting day is scheduled for March 7th.
