Subject:Rep Theater - Tree
I support your tough decision to allow the removal of the tree to allow construction of the new Rep theater
according to its present design.
The theater, an important addition for our community, provides not only entertainment but also the spiritual
impetus that good art and culture can achieve.
The loss of the tree would be a spiritual loss also for which the Council can take measures to add at other
locations.
Sometimes we look only short-term rather than years ahead, which the Council must consider when making
decisions.
