W F Wood et ux GRANT BARGAIN AND SALE DEED
TO THIS INDENTURE, Made the thirty-first day of October in the
City of San Luis year of our Lord nineteen hundred and seventeen BETWEEN

W. F. Wood and Louisa G. Wood, his wife, of Glendale,
(California, parties of the first part, AND City of San Luis Obispo, a Municipal Cor-

poration, organized and existing under a Freeholder's Charter and under the laws of

the State of California, party of the second part, WITNESSETH: That the said parties

of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Eighteen Thousand and no/100
�(018,000.00) Dollars, gold coin of the United States of America, to them in hand paid
by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do
by these presents grant, bargain and sell, convey and confirm unto the said party of
the second part, and to its successors and assigns forever, all those certain lots,
pieces or parcels of land situate, lying and being in the ... in the County of San
Luis Obispo State of California, and bounded and particularly described as follows,
to -wit:
All of Lots Six (6), Seven (7), Eight (8), Nine (9), Ten (10), Eleven (11), Eighteen
(18) and Nineteen (19) of San Luis Obispo Suburban Tract, as per map thereof filed and
recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said County, containing Forty-eight
(48) acres, more or less. Said Map of the San Luis Obispo Surburban Tract filed in
the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Luis Obispo, on February 6,
1906. TOGETHER with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments, and appurtenance
thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, re-
mainder and remainders, -rents, issues and profits thereof. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, all
and singular the said premises, together with the appurtenances unto the said party
of the second part, and to its successors and assigns forever. IN WITNESS WHEREOF,
the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day
