Subject:Please Stop the Changes
Dear San Luis Obispo City Council:
I hope this note finds you well.
I am writing concerning the City Council meeting scheduled for February 17, 2026 and item 6.b. on the
agenda.
As a long-time resident of San Luis Obispo, I am continually frustrated by the decisions made by the city
to make our roads increasingly unsafe and inconvenient for both vehicles and bicycles.
Every intersection which has become bloated with curbs and posts feels significantly more dangerous
than normal intersections, where cars and bicycles operate together smoothly and safely.
Please do everything in your power to curb these unsafe and unnecessary changes to our roads.
