Subject:Higuera Complete Streets Project 02/17/2026 CC MEETING
In regards to: the 50 Higuera Widening Project
I absolutely oppose the widening of south Higuera St!!! I live at 3395 S Higuera St. There is NO WAY if there was a disaster of some kind
emergency vehicles would not be able to get to all the people who live on Higuera St. We have a lot of Seniors in this area.
With all the people who live near me, there is no way we could get out should we have to during an emergency evacuation.
I. doNOT see that many bicyclists riding on this street to warrant removing the 4 traffic lanes!
Paint bicyle lanes, fine but no curbs and KEEP THE 4 LANES!!!
