There's mortgage, management fee, high cost of Home Owner's Insurance, Property tax, Vacancy factor and high cost of repair considering higher repair cost as tenant moves out, that alone takes most of the profit. I also would like to let you know the rental market is getting softer since there's been so many housing and business development at Calpoly. Downtown businesses are vacating, some are going out of business, and it's taking much longer to rent a housing unit. I also would like to let you know many of housing providers are retirees and have invested all their life savings into these properties, they may also be a care giver for their loved ones such as myself helping my brother financially whom has lost all his mobility and needs a twenty four hour care. I sincerely appreciate you giving a careful thought as you consider a Rental Registry. Thank you for your time, Shahin Aminilari 1
