Subject:Proposed Rental Registry
Dear Council members;
I have rented out houses in town off and on in the past several decades and always understood I needed a
business license to rent that property. I would suggest you just adopt the business license database as your
registry source. The best solution is usually the simplest. Non compliance and enforcement can be done
through that instrument. Adding unnecessary functions involving staff and additional costs typically reflections
poorly on our ability to govern.
