No worries, Christine. We would like the period from Jan 1st 2021 to the present, which we can set as
March 10th 2026.
Thanks

Rochelle,
Could you provide a time frame for the data requested? Our CAD system requires a start and end date to pull
the information for noise complaints (Title 9).

Hi Whit,
I appreciate you sending this information and thank you for taking the time to speak with me. Following
our conversation yesterday, I have a few questions and the addresses to follow up on, as promised.
1
According to SLO’s zoning regulations, section 17.86.130 only covers R3 and R4. R1 and R2 zones do
not allow fraternities and sororities. What measures have SLO PD and the city taken to investigate
potential illegal frat houses?
What advisory notices, fines, violations and Title 9 citations have been issued to these addresses:
388 Chaplin Lane
281 Albert Drive
148 Orange Drive
385 Albert Drive
1350 Stafford (& 496 Kentucky, on same parcel)
654-658 Graves Ave (Jerry Lenthall owns)
1928 Garfield St (Jerry Lenthall owns)
If fines and violations have not deterred these homes from being rented to fraternities what measures is
the city taking to enforce zoning rules?
As you mentioned the city can escalate to court, if any, which frat houses in zones R1 and R2 have been
escalated beyond advisory notices, fines and violations since 2021?
From my conversations, the overwhelming consensus from both residents and college students is a
desire to establish a Greek row on the Cal Poly campus to condense the parties to the campus. What
conversations has the city had with Cal Poly about this? Are there plans to establish this?
Have also attached reported parties with evidence of those parties which were deemed unfounded. Can
you please provide more info on these four examples? I have included the addresses above, but I'm also
looking for info on the specific reports outlined in the PDF:
Can you expand on the investigation made into these reports?
Is this party posting not included in the investigation? If so, in what way?
What other evidence would the city need to deem these illegal parties?
Also attached is a list of illegal fraternities and sororities with owner information.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks!
