Subject:Potential Rental Registration Concept for the City
San Luis Obispo,
I have read the proposed ideas on Rental Registration for property owners who rent. I am opposed to this.
I don't see the value in having more registration requirements, as we already have to obtain a business
license yearly, and that should be sufficient for the city to determine the number of rentals present. I own
two properties, a single family home and a Triplex that myself and my husband rent out. We live nearby in
Templeton, CA. It does not seem to us that any registration of rental units is justified or needed. I would
like to share my opinion that the city not move forward with these registration procedures proposed.
