VICTIM: zr-year-old male
DETAILS:
San Luis Obispo police Department is investigating a reported hate crime that occurred on Saturday, February
z8,2oz6,in the evening hours between 9:oo pm and ro:oo pm on the 3oo block of Hathway.
The victim , a 2t-yeabold male, was at a fraternity house located in the zoo block of California that also has a back
entrance on Hathway Street. While standing at the Hathway entrance, a lifted white truck drove onto
Hathway, stopped near the house and the occupants of the truck yelled antlsemitic slurs at him. A verbal
urgo*.nt "rr**d and several males got out of ihe truck and one of the males ran to the house, entered
th! yard and struck the victim on the side of his head with his hand. The males then got back into the truck and
drove away.
This is an ongoing investigation, and we are asking for the community's assistance in identifoing the suspects.
