The internal report I am looking for may be attached to a different case number. I am submitting a new request under the California Public Records Act for records related to Report #231109012. I am specifically requesting a copy of the internal report that I was permitted to review in person at the police department. I viewed the report at an appointed time in a controlled setting, with an investigator present, after being informed that the police chief stated it was permissible to review the document. During that review, I was allowed only limited notes, could not take copies or photographs, and could only view the report for a limited period of time. The report includes interviews with hospital staff concerning the underlying incident. Although I was previously informed that this document was considered “internal,” it contains factual accounts and third-party statements and therefore constitutes a public record subject to disclosure. In addition, I request the following records:  The internal report described above, including all attachments and incorporated statements  Any records of interviews conducted with hospital staff related to this incident  Audio recordings, notes, or summaries of those interviews, if they exist Please treat this as a new request and assign a tracking number. I would appreciate a confirmation that the request is being processed. Thank you for your time and attention. Sincerely, James Garcia 1
