Gladwell, City Clerk SUBJECT: Appointment Recommendations to the Cultural Heritage Committee RECOMMENDATION: By motion, reappoint Wendy Waldron to a three year term to expire 3/31/96, and appoint Janice Ramsay to a four year term to expire 3/31/97. DISCUSSION: The terms of Jerry Michaels and Wendy Waldron will expire on March 31, 1993. After reviewing applications and interviewing applicants, the Council Subcommittee is pleased to recommend those candidates listed above. Copies of the nominee applications are attached. As a 10 year resident, currently-residing. near. downtown amoung historic structures, I would like to see as much of the unique character of San Luis Obispo preserved as possible. Preservation projects must also consider economics and use but these items are not imposible partners to historic preservation.
