Subject:Public Comment Broad Street Corridor
Hello:
Broad Street terrifies me due to the speed with which traffic moves and because of the lack of signals. If I want
to exit a business and head in a direction that requires a left turn, I don’t. Rather, I turn right and travel far
enough to safely turn left into a side street, then turn right and head the direction I intended. Optimally, I plan a
route that requires no left turns.
Ridiculous and simply alleviated by lowering the speed limit and installing a couple more signals from
Woodbridge to Industrial. Who can say if this would have prevented the recent fatal accident, but it may have
helped.
Thank you for all the work you do to make our wonderful city even safer and better.
