Subject:April 7, Public Comment Broad Street Corridor
Mayor Stewart and Council,
As a Council you allocated funding to the Broad Street Corridor, yet we have not seen any progress being
made on Broad Street.
The striping of the middle lane, made a major difference. But that is not enough to make the street safer.
And very recently we lost a life on Broad Street because of the delay in progress.
I am hoping that you will work with staff to make any changes that can be done to Broad Street to make it safer
for all of us who travel on Broad Street each day. It is not only those of us who live off Broad, but all of us who
travel it daily, who will appreciate it.
Thank you for any and all safety efforts you can make happen.
