Subject:Public Comment Broad Street Corridor
Hello SLO City Council,
I want to again petition that traffic mitigation work be prioritized along the Broad Street Corridor. I am
aware of the work being done behind the scenes, but after the death of a motorcyclist in a traffic
accident two weeks ago on Broad street I wanted to bring this to the top of your list. Me, my family, and
my neighbors have seen the increase in traffic over the years on South Broad street over the years, yet
the overall configuration of the lanes and stoplights remain the same. This cannot continue as
exemplified by the aforementioned accident. I petition SLO City Council to please do everything in your
power to expedite the improvements to Broad street and give all citizens - bikers, drivers, and
pedestrians a much safer Broad Street Corridor.
