This is a request for release of any and all public records in the city’s possession pertaining to, or mentioning, the coast
live oak (Quercus agrifolia) on city-owned property commonly described as 614 Monterey Street (or “the SLO Rep site”).
In specific, requestor seeks all records that, among other things, concern long-term plans to protect, preserve and
maintain this municipal tree; and any dissent from or efforts to alter those plans.
This is to be understood as a broad request for ALL RECORDS that mention or discuss said tree. Records sought include
those that originated within city hall; that originated outside city hall; that involve interaction among staff, elected officials,
SLO Rep or its officials or proxies including its hired consultants/arborists/contractors/engineers/architects/etc.; that are to
or from the general public; etc. In other words, to/from/among all parties pertaining to the tree.
Time period: 2000 to present.
Please advise on media formats available for transfer of data once available.
