Subject:Upcoming Changes to Sewer Lateral Program
Dear Council,
I was pleased to hear about the potential changes to the Sewer Lateral Program. The program, as
it has previously been administered, has been very difficult for me, a homebuilder to explain to
clients. On two occasions it stopped the development of potential projects. I support City staff's
recomendation of modifying the plan to use property transactions as an alternative to construction
projects that add needed housing.
