Approved bid solicitation and CAO award of contract (5-0). ► C-3 PROJECT STUDY REPORT - PRADO ROAD PROJECT STUDY (McCLUSKEY/ 94-08A) Consideration of a Request for Proposals for a Project Study Report on the Prado Road interchange, estimated to cost $75,000 (available from SLOCOG grant funds). ♦ RECOMMENDATION: By motion: 1) Authorize soliciting of Request for Proposals for preparation of Project Study report; 2) Authorize City Administrative Officer to execute a contract with the top-rated consultant within project budget. McCluskey* RNAL ACTION- RFP approved as amended to change wording as discussed by Council and CAO John Dunn (design an efficient interchange that uses the least amount of land and preserves maximum open space) (4-1, AS-no). ► C-4 JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT - CROSSING GUARD SERVICES (GARDINER/1151) Consideration of a Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) with the San Luis Coastal Unified School District (SLCUSD) to ensure crossing guard services for school age children. ♦ RECOMMENDATION: By motion, approve JPA and authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement.
