1. CALL TO ORDER
A Regular Meeting of the San Luis Obispo Mass Transportation Committee was
called to order on January 14, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. in the Council Hearing Room at
City Hall, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, by Chair Figueroa.
2. PRESENTATION
Introduced the new Public Works and Utilities Director and Assistant Director
positions.

4.a CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES - NOVEMBER 12, 2025, MASS
TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE MINUTES
Motion By Member Kisinger
Second By Member Hershberger
To approve the Mass Transportation Committee Minutes of November 12,
2025.
Ayes (5): Member Hershberger, Member Kisinger, Member Ramage, Vice
Chair Cramer, and Chair Figueroa
Absent (3): Member Crampton, Member Duffy, and Member Lariz
CARRIED (5 to 0)
5. COMMENT AND DISCUSSION
5.a SLO TRANSIT UPDATE
Mobility Services Business Manager Alex Fuchs provided updates on the
following:
• Transit Innovation Study Implementation Progress Report
• Short-Range Transit Plan Implementation Progress Report
5.b STUDY SESSION FOR MICROTRANSIT FEASIBILITY STUDY
Received a presentation from Cal Poly student and SLO Transit Intern,
Emily McBride, on a Microtransit Pilot Program Feasibility Study and
provided feedback on the initial service alternatives, community
engagement, and next steps.
6. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 4:02 p.m. The next Regular Meeting of the Mass
Transportation Committee is scheduled for March 11, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. in the
Council Hearing Room at City Hall, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo.
