SLOMC 1.24.050(D) states that each day a violation of the code exists shall be a separate and distinct violation and may be subject to a separate administrative fine. It goes on to explain that an administrative citation may charge a violation for one or more days on which a violation exists and for violation of one or more applicable code sections. Resolution #10894 sets the fine schedule for violations of Title 17 as $100 for the first violation, $500 for the second violation and $1000 for the third violation. The multiple check boxes are meant to convey that fines have been assessed at the adopted escalating fine schedule for the first, second and third occurrences.
