Subject:The Vision Zero plan for SLO
Dear City Council Members,
California's more than 100 years of focus on vehicles has resulted in a severe lack of safe, comfortable
and inviting transportation infrastructure for its residents. Please. Please. Turn this around.
SLO has implemented some good plans for bicycle and pedestrian safety. These are baby steps,
especially for a university town like SLO. It's way past time to redouble efforts toward a better
infrastructure. Adopting Vision Zero would be a positive step.
