Subject:Vision Zero Plan
Dear Council,
I am writing to ask for your support of the Vision Zero plan. I started bike commuting in 2020 after the
path along Madonna Road was built. This last connection from Laguna Lake to downtown was made and
I finally felt safe to commute by bike. It has been very impactful to me mentally, physically and
financially. The City has made lots of progress but there are many streets and intersections that still need
help. Please vote to give vulnerable pedestrians and bikers a fighting chance!
Every penny invested will pay off in dollars for the city’s residents. This has been proven in many studies
where these investments are made.
