Honorable Mayor and City Council members,
I support the adoption of the Vision Zero Action Plan and appreciate the approach the city is using "to
cultivate a more forgiving transportation system where human error and collisions may be inevitable, but
catastrophic injury or death is exceedingly rare."
I also LOVE that the City is measuring success (or not) for projects already implemented. So often the
discussions are dominated by a car vs bike culture without recognition of the benefits to ALL users of
these types of projects. It will be great to have historical data to influence future decisions.
I urge you to adopt the Vision Zero plan because the sooner the plan and priorities are adopted, the
quicker the benefits can be realized.
