Subject:The Vision Zero Action Plan
To whom it may concern,
I am a SLO resident and I want to voice my full support of the Vision Zero Action Plan, especially
initiatives to install 4-way bicycle crossing signals at existing stoplights and sidewalk level bike lane. As a
student at Cal Poly I have researched walkable and bikeable infrastructure intensively, so I can attest
that these changes, though among the most difficult, will have the greatest life-saving impact.
I have been injured by motorists as a cyclist on these streets. I know community members who have
been killed walking and biking on these streets. The city was correct to address this issue, now it's up to
you to ensure we follow through.
