It's great to (virtually) meet you both.
Thank you for letting me know about the meeting date change. I look forward to doing this
work when/if I am approved.
I can certainly make it on the 18th.
The chair that was provided for me was great. Thank you. I'll just continue to need a chair
with a higher seat and arms.
The meetings are typically the first Wednesday of each month at 5:00, is that correct?

My name is Samantha Vethavanam and myself along with my manager, Matt Pennon
(cc:ed here) are the staff liaisons to the Human Relations Commission (HRC).
I understand you are being recommended to the City Council for an appointment to the
HRC – congratulations! We are looking forward to having you once/if everything is
approved by Council.
I know we are a little early in reaching out given your appointment is not yet official, but
we felt it was necessary because there is a slight change to HRC’s schedule for the
month of February. We are going to be cancelling the February 4th meeting and
instead holding a Special Meeting on February 18th. It will still be held in the same
place (Council Hearing Room at City Hall) and same time (5:00pm).
We just wanted you to be aware of this schedule change, and hope you can also make
this meeting still, with as much notice as possible. Please let us know if you cannot!
Additionally, we know you had a specific accommodation request for your chair for your
interview, and we wanted to ensure what was provided was appropriate or if any
adjustments needed to be made in advance of the next meeting.
