Subject:Agenda item 5j - traffic calming on Lawton and Funston
Hello,
I understand that you are allocating funds towards the South Broad Corridor project, as part of agenda
item 5j. I kindly request that you reserve a small portion of funds, not needed for the planning contract, to
advance temporary low-cost traffic calming as soon as possible, like rubber speed humps, in the area of
Funston and Lawton.
Something like rubber speed humps can provide short term safety benefits while more permanent
solutions are explored during the planning study.
