Subject:South & King Intersection Improvement
Hello,
I am emailing to support City staff’s proposal to modify the improvements underway at the South & King
intersection. Specifically, I am supportive of the change from a Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon to a standard traffic
signal. The change to a standard traffic signal will keep all the existing benefits to bicyclists and pedestrians
(including safety) while also improving mobility for vehicles, especially when making left turns on all
approaches. Council should approve these changes.
