To the City Council members,
We would like to thank you for supporting the recommended project changes at the intersection of King
Court and South St. in SLO. My wife and I exit several times each day by car, and turning left on South St.
has become something of a challenge given the flow of traffic between Broad and Higuera Sts. In
addition, many cars heading along South St. fly through the flashing yellow beacon. I’m surprised no
accidents have taken place. A standard traffic light, as recommended by city staff, will serve both
motorists and pedestrians well. Thank you for paying attention to our concerns.
