04/30/2015 Inspection revealed three unpermitted
structures/sheds in the rear yard with a
shingle roofs and electrical cords attached,
numerous unregistered vehicles in the parking

05/01/2015 Inspection on 4-29-15 revealed three
unpermitted structures in the rear yard
setback, several unregistered vehicles in the
driveway/parking lot; including, a van that
appeared to have someone living in it, and
visible storage near the side yard gate.

05/08/2015 NOV sent on 5-7-15 with compliance date of
5-17-15.

05/21/2015 Inspection on 5-21-15 revealed no change in
the property. Property still has several
unregistered vehicles, person living in the van
in the driveway, and 3 structures in the rear
yard.

Property owner Alex called. Staff advised
property owner of the violations. Compliance
date of NOV was 5/19/15. Property owner
asked and was granted a one week
extension to have the person and the van
removed, and come into planning discuss if he
can have any of the structures in the rear
yard.

06/05/2015 Staff called and spoke with property Alex.
Alex agreed to allow staff to inspect and
measure the rear yard to determine if yard is
big enough to fit two of the sheds in the rear
yard. Staff will call Alex next week to
schedule the inspection.

Staff conducted inspection of rear yard on
6/4/15. Based on measurements of the rear
yard, property owner will be able to keep two
of the sheds if he removes the smaller third
shed and relocates the middle shed to allow it
to conform to the property line setback
requirements. While in rear yard, staff
observed three boarded up windows on Unit
A. Staff requested that the windows be
unboarded and replaced/repaired immediately.
Staff advised the property owner the the
window violation is a "Life & Safety" issue
and must be addressed first. Staff will give a
one week extension (from date of inspection)
to correct the window violation. Once the
windows have been repaired, staff will work
with the property owner on a time frame to
correct the remaining violations. Staff Advised
property owner that a letter addressing the
windows will be forthcoming.

Addendum addresses the boarded up
windows facing the side and rear yards.

06/26/2015 Staff called and left a voice mail for the
property owner, requesting a follow up
inspection. If property owner does not call
back, staff will continue with enforcement
action.

Alex. An inspection has been set for 7/7/15.

Inspection on 7/7/15 revealed all of the
windows have been replaced. The the work
to remove the small shed has begun.
Additionally several cars have been removed.
Staff advised the property owner that due to
the time that has lapsed on the case, weekly
inspection will be required, property owner
agreed. Next inspection has been set for
7/7/15.

08/06/2015 Inspection with Cassia C. revealed the visible
storage from the front yard has been
removed and the small third shed has been
removed.

Staff called and spoke property owner. Due
to progress made, staff granted a three week
extension to continue abating the violations.
Next inspection is set for 8-14-15.

a two week extension until the 28th to
continue work on abating the violations.

09/15/2015 Staff called and spoke with property owner.
Staff advised the property
owner that his residential licence has expired
and a new one must be obtained. Property
owner stated that he would obtain the licence
by 9-19-15.
staff put on hold the moving of
the shed. Staff did advise the property owner
that the his brother can no longer live in the
van. Staff provided a one week deadline to
have the van removed and his brother living in
the house.

12/23/2015 Staff spoke to property owner on 12-17-15.
All violations have been abated except moving
the front portion of the shed to the required
5ft setback. The shed is currently 3ft 9inches
from the property line.
and all other violations have
been abated staff will close the case. Staff
advised property owner that if code
enforcement received a complaint specific to
the setback, he would be required to move
the shed.
