Hello,
I am researching the case involving David Randall Quintero, who was arrested
following an investigation into alleged rape and possession of child sexual abuse
material on November 21, 2024, in San Luis Obispo, California.
Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (Government Code §§ 7920.000 et seq.),

Incident Details:
The San Luis Obispo Police Department began investigating David Randall Quintero
after receiving a report of an alleged rape in October 2024. During the same period,

police were also investigating Quintero for suspected possession of child sexual abuse
material.
On November 21, 2024, officers arrested Quintero following the investigation. During a
search of Quintero’s property, investigators reportedly located more than 1,500 images
of child sexual abuse material.
The San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office later charged Quintero with
felony offenses related to the investigation. He was booked into the San Luis Obispo
County Jail with bail set at $400,000.

Felony Rape of an Unconscious Person
Felony Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material

footage, arrest reports, incident reports, CAD/dispatch logs, search warrant service
records, property seizure records, evidence inventory records, and any other
releasable public records associated with this arrest and investigation.
