Hello,
I am researching the case involving Ivan Cobarrubias, who was arrested following an
Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation on April 10, 2025, in San Luis
Obispo, California.
Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (Government Code §§ 7920.000 et seq.),
I respectfully request copies of the following public records related to this case:

Incident Details:
On April 10, 2025, officers and detectives with the San Luis Obispo Police Department,
working as part of the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task

Force, arrested Ivan Cobarrubias, 28, at his residence in the 1200 block of Murray
Street following a cybercrime investigation.
According to police, the investigation was initiated using cybertips received from
electronic service providers, including Facebook, Google, and Reddit, regarding the
alleged uploading of child sexual abuse material.
Police executed a search of Cobarrubias' residence and vehicle, where investigators
reportedly located more than 1,000 files of suspected child sexual abuse material.
Cobarrubias was arrested and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail.

Felony Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material
Felony Transmission of Child Sexual Abuse Material
Felony Possession of Matter Depicting a Minor Engaging in Sexual Conduct with More
Than 600 Images Portraying Sexual Sadism or Masochism
Felony Possession of Matter Depicting a Minor Engaging in Sexual Conduct
I respectfully request copies of all releasable body-worn camera footage, dash camera
footage, search warrant service footage, arrest reports, incident reports, CAD/dispatch
logs, property seizure reports, inventory logs, and any other releasable public records
associated with this investigation and arrest.
