CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR ENGAGEMENT PROJECT
SCOPE OF SERVICES – PURCHASE ORDER EXHIBIT
As of November 15, 2019
The Lew Edwards Group will provide the following Scope of Wor k on a month to month basis
commencing November 2019 through the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2020. Either party may suspend
or terminate services upon two weeks’ notice to the other. City shall pay Consultant fees through date
of termination. The parties may mutually agree to extend this agreement beyond June 30, 2020. If so,
Consultant’s nonprofit rate of $3500/month shall apply to the extended period.
Preparation, Research and Background
• Conduct media audit of City-related issues in the current public arena.
• Conduct review of current demographics within the City.
• Review archival information pertaining to LEG’s past City project and Best Practices in similar
projects in the region.
• Review recent and past survey results.
• Participate in Kickoff teleconference.
Strategic Advisory Services
• Provide high level strategic advice for the duration of the engagement.
• Provide peer review to City draft materials. Consultant to be provided with a minimum of 48
hours to review/comment.
• If available, provide fast phone and email consultation on selected urgent or rapid response
needs.
Legal advice or services is expressly not within Consultant’s Scope of Work. Consultant will not be
attending on-site or ongoing meetings or conference calls. The parties envision no more than one
conference call per month, with limited email and ad hoc communications in between.
Communications will be centralized through Assistant to the City Manager Ryan Betz.
PAYMENT OF SERVICES
Consultant shall be paid as follows:
• Two Thousand, Four Hundred and Ninety Dollars ($2,490) on November 29, 2019;
• Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000) on December 31, 2019; and
• Six payments of One Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($1,750.00) per payment due
and payable on the last business day of each month commencing January 31, 2020 and ending
on June 30, 2020.
