At that time the Board was initiating a investigation effort into the groundwater contamination at the Dalidio wells. Later conversations with Board members indicated that this site was a potential point source. In 1987, Randy Miller authorized the abandonment and closure -in -place of a 38 year old 1,000 gallon underground storage tank used to contain a dry cleaning solvent. According to our records, the tank was filled with slurry mixture, however, there is no indication that the subsurface soils/groundwater was ever investigated.
